Hi I see Best Buy is joining the online craze and starting a New Marketplace seller venue. Has anyone joined and if so what do you think?

Thanks

Wow never heard of this. Interesting.

I'm at the page and is it like Ebay where random people list things? It looks like it's only retailers.

Old news and not interesting because you must be a legitimate company. All these big companies trying to start "marketplaces" are all the same thing and it's pointless.

RSOT.. It seems like it is. Or alternatively... Unisquare has a similar layout like ebay.. I like their simple & clean interface! Must check it out because they seem quite promising to me! Go read them out if u have a chance..

For example, Buy.com marketplace, one of the first ones, requires you input a social security number from the get go. I applied and they never even got back to me. Waste of time.

But why would you want to get register to such when it requires you to go thru so much. Definitely a time waste! I see potential in unisquare - easy, simple , hassle free n the best part is.. Their layout is quite similar to ebay!

I don't know how long it will take Unisquare to pick up traffic. For now, I don't think they have the buyers. Most of sellers are single digit feedback or still at "0".

Unisquare is very new in the market - go check out their site that says "about us". And if all of us hea in this forum moves over to unisquare n start selling/buying..am sure it will be a rival to ebay if not soon!

Funny I was just reading posts from 2007 that said the same identical thing for other sites that are now dead...lol

I'm making a new site.

Fantasy Selling

One of the users here, imjustme, has plans for a new site.

I would recommed considering his platform. His approach appears better long term.
