Default blujay.com

Since Ebay unfairly suspended me for being linked to another suspended person....

I found the site www.blujay.com

Has anyone heard of it?

It has been around for years and there are absolutely ZERO fees associated with the site. The only fees that exist are if you CHOOSE to use paypal or google checkout or you can take check, cash etc. It does not have anywhere near the traffic obviously as Ebay but it is really simple to register and set up a store. Pretty basic stuff. Seems like people's items sit like they do on other auction sites much longer but there are NO fees for them sitting there or when they sell. Looks like the owners have slowly started changing and updating it over time like adding feedback. Users seem friendly and pretty dedicated as most of them are ex-ebay members.

I think if more people heard of and used this site it would be worth while.

What do you guys think? I know a lot of people use bonanza but even that website has monthly fees to use and final value fees.

Thanks for the link but I will continue using ebay/papyal even after all the fees they charge. There just isn't any site out there with the traffic, even you have your own website.

Let's face it, at the end of the day it is all about TRAFFIC. We put up with eBay/Amazon because they have the traffic.

It is the same reason the ice cream store will pay $4,000 per month to be in the food court at the mall, even if the property managers are jerks - they can sell A LOT of ice cream.

I've tried sites like these before and the problem I have with them is I get only an occasional sale here and there. On Bonanza, maybe 1 sale for every 100 eBay sales. So, while I think the people running Bonanza are MUCH NICER than the people running eBay, I'm not abandoning eBay anytime soon.

The goal is to spread, not abandon an already thriving market. Increase sales and reduce costs. What is overlooked by 99% of the people here half the time is the free insertion into search engines, mainly Google.

Bon.a.nza doesn't offer any such promotion and they do everything in their power to mimic EB. Their traffic has increased over the years, but other than an aesthetically appealing design, they are useless.

Some of these sites inevitably develop niches over time. You have to keep an eye out for that. Bonan.za is one of them. Some stuff sells amazing there and there is still much that does not.

With the updates they have done in the past few years, you can easily monitor a specific market. Pinpoint a seller in your market and you can monitor their daily transactions completed as well as feedback received/left for others just like EB.

i been selling on blujay for a couple of years now.
i buy some things there instead of E bay sometimes

I make a few sales a month there

it seems to be about the same in sales per month since i started

of about 200 sales for the year there.......i have never gotten any feedback from anyone

you don't have to be a member to buy there either....which i think is nice

unless you have hot hot items, you won't make alot there but it does help the bankroll in the long run.

The small selling sites do seem to be growing a little bit.

good luck

Bonanza changing to google shopping and increasing final value fees through them at 9%

I just said wow my sales are up so much on bonanza. Getting about 20 a week....

I just got my first paypal account not linked to ebay and only bonanza asking for EIN so things were moving.

Yea, I noticed. It was far too easy to find you. Now, you're on holiday. Yay
