We thank you in advance for your cooperation. If you have any questions, please contact the PayPal Brand Risk Management Department at

I emailed the aup department, requesting clarification of precisely HOW I had breached their aup policy. 7 times. Each time, I received what appeares to be an automated response
"Thank you for contacting PayPal with your concern regarding the limitation on your account.
We regret to inform you that we cannot overturn the limitation on your account. Due to the violation of PayPal's Acceptable Use Policy, your account has been permanently limited."
I then telephoned paypal, and requested that I be allowed to upload Invoices, and letters of authorisation from manufacturers, as proof that there has been no breach of their aup policies.
Eventually, 3 phone calls later, I get to upload documents. Guess what?
Appeal Denied. Again.
I emailed their office of executive escalations, and also the CeO of paypal, asking them, in the light of having uploaded documents, and still being completely unaware of the reason for their aup department to limit my account, to review the limitation once more.
I had a message back, stating that it was being reviewed by "Brand Risk Management" and that they would be in touch.
It took them quite some time!! However, the account has been restored.
Its certainly worth being persistent sometimes. This was an aged account, linked to an excellent ebay account, so Im happy with the final result, whilst acknowledging that paypal being paypal, it can get shut down at any time.
Dont give up if an account is worth saving!!
