Hi, i got limited because i received more money than usual. I added all the info they requested and the tracking numbers. 2 of 3 items have been delivered and paypal knows that but for the last item i added a false tracking number, and they are telling me that they will unlimit my account only when the item has been delivered which will not happen since i never shipped it. i did that because i wanted to transfer the money first to my bank account and then ship it. But the moment the money came into my paypal account i got limited so i could not do it. Anyway, what should i do now? I want to refund the whole amount to the buyer but i am 50$ short. I wanted to refund the buyer in form of a payment since my balance is smaller than his payment, but i cannot send payments because i am limited.
Any suggestions?

I received this from paypal a moment ago:
In order to restore your account access we would
like to ask you to refund rest of the amount. Becasue there is not enough
funds in your account please use top up option to trasnfer fudns to your
PayPal account and then you will be able to issue refund to the buyer for
missing amount./////

The thing is that i do not want to top up my account. Will they retsore my account if i receive positive feedback from the buyer??

Seems like you are going to have to refund first.. as you never really sent the item. Don't see how you can get positive feedback on this transaction if buyer is expecting refund? But if you do, this may take care of it....

i will send the buyer the remaining amount through payment from another paypal that is not limited. I already asked the buyer to leave positive fb when he gets the whole refund. I also sent him a little more for the whole unfortunate situation.

No, don't send another payment from a different account.

positive feedback won't make any difference either.

You will need to top up the account and issue refund.
Once the refund is made, that dispute will be settled instantly.

But it needs to come from that problem limited account.

If you need delivery confirmation, simply send a letter to the recipient and add that tracking number instead. In the eyes of Paypal it's an online confirmation of delivery to the address. Not to be used for selling sc*ms!!

the name on ebay is different that the name on the bank account...

Unliess I am mistaken, everyone on here says that paypal doesn't see the name on your bank account, it just goes by account number.

Also, are able to get a green dot money pack where you are? You can add that to paypal in different money increments. Here we buy them at WalMart, WalGreens, ets. I don't know if you have access to that or not.

in the balkans.
it specifiaclly says in their email that if the name in my account is different, i should tell them to change it.
also i do not have money in the account.
if i get a positive feedback by the buyer will they unlimit me?
anyone knows?

When you log into paypal, go to add funds.
You should already have a bank attached to your Paypal account at paypal.com etc.
Add the funds which will take 7-9 working days.

Or simply ship the item and add tracking once you see it has been delivered with online confirmation.

In an ideal world we would like to ship item once payment is in a bank account but it doesn't make any difference in the end. Just send it recorded delivery.

the name on my bank account is different than the one on paypal...
the name on my bank accoutn was used in an account that paypal supsended 2 years ago.

Dimdiam1, I thought in your part of the world you can only use PayPal to send the money out to people not to receive it? Maybe you can somehow transfer money from your Moneybookers account to this PayPal?

I have done it on past accounts in same rxi034 cases and it has worked though.
i hope positive feedback works again.

I would have started out by sending a replacement tracking information, regardless of whether a refund is to be issued later. Tracking is HUGE for paypal.
