 permanently "Limited" from Paypal?
So... I have been selling on Ebay and using paypal for over 10 years now. Back in September I was selling phones and had many issues with foreign account payments. "payments from outside the US". Problem was that they didn't understand that the phone was for "Us Cellular only". After they would pay I would get asked how to activate on verizon or outside of US. I stated multiple times that this is US Cellular only and they apparently didn't get it.
After refunding and reselling and refunding and selling constantly with the same problems over and over my account became limited for too many transfer of funds or something stupid. Pretty much I had buyers that didn't understand what I was selling and then I had to constantly refund and try to resell these darn phones! Never had foreign buyers until selling phones it was the craziest horrible experience ever.
So anyways... my account was limited and I had steps to do to get it fixed. I uploaded invoices, etc. I got Paypal on the phone and decided I was done with this and wanted to just cancel all orders and give refunds. She did this for me and left my paypal negative since I had transferred some of the funds to my Bank. I corrected my negative balance and after that processed a while later I called paypal and they removed all limitations and life went on. That was the end of october. Since I fixed my paypal I have only bought two items on ebay and I received a refund to my paypal account from Ebay for seller fees not reimbursed to me for the stupid phone issues. I had already paid my seller fees for the sales and later refunded all buyers and was not credited back my fees.
Anyways right after I transferred the credit back to my bank account the next day I got an email saying my account was limited. I went on my pp and they said "we need more information about your recent transactions". There were no steps, no explanation of what transactions (my guess is the ebay credit). Nothing. I called paypal and he couldn't see a reason why they limited my account and said he would forward a ticket to a department to get it looked at and I would get a reply in 24 hours. Later that evening around 11 pm I got an automated email saying my account was permanently limited, but they were releasing my funds (.86 cents) for withdrawl.
Pretty much saying goodbye. No reason about why. I called paypal again today and he started a scripted message about paypal no longer wishes to do business with me. I asked why? He just continued on with his scripted message. I asked is this forever? He said yes nothing I could do about it. I ended up hanging up on him. I am just in shock. I don't understand. How do you not work with your clients?
Seriously I am banned from my account because I got a credit from ebay? Or I sold to stupid buyers and refunded them without any issues? I don't understand. Any chance of fixing this? I have never heard of such a ridiculous system. Everything felt automated. Triggered by a robot, my appeal went to a robot that decided it hated me. How do they plan to stay in business if they just ban their customers?
