Default Can I add a new PAYPAL account to my EBAY account?

My current PAYPAL account is in good standing but due to 200 limitation I am being asked to provide SSN. I tried to add EIN but they won't let me, say it is limited.
The other option I have ( according to PAYPAL) is to create a new account with a different email address. So wouldn't I be able to purcahse a new PAYPAL on forums and add to my EBAY?

Thank you

You don't have to purchase a new PayPal to add to ebay. You would just go to yahoo or google and create a new account for your business account.

If you do that, Paypal will:

1) Confirm your new email
2) Link you to a bank
3) Verify what "name" you want that buyers will see
4) See if you want to add a PayPal debit card.

PayPal allows one personal account and one business account to share the same bank account. So if you create a new account, you can link the same bank account as your personal one (if you wish). Or you can link it with a new bank account, so this PayPal account will be entirely new.

So #1 and #2 are not optional. #3 does not make or break you, so if you ignore it, that's ok, or you can give yourself some sort of name that's easy and simple. #4 (link to Paypal is debit) is a definite no-no because that might link you in a bad way and #4 is optional any way.

Best wishes.

It is not a business so it is safe to add a new account? I don't understand why PP would allow this if they are asking for my ssn ?

Lets get something straight, There's no such thing as "safe" when dealing with PayPal. Adding a new PayPal isn't going to be a long term fix, can it be done? Yes....Will it last? Time will tell. PayPal Reps say a lot of things, most don't even know how their system works. Take whatever PayPal Reps tell you with a grain of salt.

As I mentioned above, you can add a new PayPal to your Ebay but not always will that work long-term. And just so we are clear, people will chime in telling you they have added a new PayPal to their Ebay account's and are still going...

If you add an EIN, Paypal is going to treat it as a business account and will ask you for the last 4 numbers of your SSN.

If you only add your SSN to PayPal, they treat it as a personal account.

I have a personal account that has my SSN

I have a 2nd account that is a business account has my EIN (but they also have the last 4 numbers of my SSN)

And then I have 2 stealth accounts where I haven't given any info because I'm staying under the $20,000 annual threshold for both.

If it's not a business as you say, you're going to have to make a decision:
1) Putting an EIN makes Paypal start the process of vetting you as a business (so expect to input your last 4 digits of SSN) or
2) Set up new stealth accounts and just don't go near the thresholds for quantities or $20,000 annual income
