Yes, Xoom is legit. Many of the customers are using it for transferrring money or withdrawing money to their bank accounts.

Yes, just used it today. First time I used it was over a year ago. Guy was selling VERO items on ebay, and nothing else. That was his payment method.

Tonight, I was trying to wire money to HK. Western Union declined me. Wouldn't tell me why other that some canned response like "our business doctrine" blah blah. I kindly asked for an explanation but it was like a paypal employee working part time at the Western Union. No surprise. Logged onto zoom, sent the funds easily. No problems.

Thanks for posting this...I never really knew much about it. But it sounds like a good way to get your paypal funds.

Yes, it is. This is the best way to transfer money to your bank acccount. But you can't get the money in your hand directly as they don't do domestic transfers.

Since loads of people here get their paypal account frozen, would zoom be a good way to get out the funds on your paypal account even if you know you can be limited anytime? I mean if I receive 1000$ on my paypal account and immediatly send it to zoom and get frozen an hour later will my zoom transfer work?

Xoom takes 3-4 Business days to complete the transaction. If your account is limited within that time, your transaction is cancelled.

Hmm...are u sure transactions are cancelled once an account is limited? I can see the account being limited but I can't see Paypal immediately reversing the transaction along with it.

Do they first wait to limit it when you withdraw funds? Or do they limit it once you get funds?

They wait until you withdraw, at least this time they haven't frozen my account yet! Do you guys think I can get my money through Xoom? I don't want to wait 180 days...
