You may not remove your funding source while an authorization is still pending.

I tried to remove my debit card. Why I got this? My account is not limited.

Authorization pending for something you bought? Throw us some details.

paypal will not allow removal of a funding source if there is account activity.

Does not matter if there are other sources on the account, paypal send that message.

I get that on every account if I attempt to remove a means of paypal being paid.

even get an email that scares me

As far as I know it's not a glitch. Been happening for months

Paypal wants you to have some type of founding source on the account before removing anything. could use another debit card ( 711 greendot card) then go spend the money on the card after using it as a funding source for paypal

@rice

What I was saying is that paypal does not let me remove a funding source even with other cards etc on file.

My silliest one came after an email to advise a card had expired. ( Which it had).

Card had not been used for months. All transactions used the other funding sources.

It was not possible to remove (even) the expire card.

I emailed paypal. Can not repeat the stupidity of their reply.

Well I found out it was because there was a pending order thats why which was still being authorized by the selling company.

Even if you do remove it. remember that on the large part, pp will not let you use that source card again for different cards.
