Using DBA for PayPal/eBay

I'm going to setup a business DBA in the name of my PayPal stealth and get a tax ID for that name, and give them that. It's asking to enter the exact business name I want to register, do I just enter the name exactly as it is on the PayPal?

When officially registering as a business, the whole idea is to become "legit", so you want to leave any stealth name that you have at the door. You are (or will be) dealing with the IRS here (taxes), so you need to use real info, including a real business name (you can make up anything, just as long as no one in the state you're registering in has that exact same name) and a real address you have access to. The business name on the EIN application must match what you enter on your Paypal account, so be careful with punctuation - the IRS doesn't allow certain characters, so it's best to get the EIN from the IRS first so you'll know whether or not it will be accepted.

DBA EIN can be risky. If you have a paypal problem it directly links to your SS number with any sort of review at all.

You need read information, such as real bussiness name, real address. Every info of EIN application also match with paypal
