My paypal account is negative $3000. Will anything happen?

This is a very old thread... but -

A lack of a SSN isn't much of a barrier.

it is perfectly legal to use any name you want as long is it doesn't belong to another person, UNLESS it is used to defraud another person.

A perfect example of this is women changing their last name to match that of their husband after a marriage, or changing it back after a divorce.

This guy appears to have defrauded PP, whatever his sad story, I'm guessing the number is too low for any serious debt collector to work hard over, but still this is exactly the kind of troubled player that makes us all look like crooks and I hope he gets what is coming to him.

I had an old account that was overdrawn over $6K. Paypal does in house collections. Mine was a failed instant transer. You know instantly paid someone then they draft you account. After repeatedly trying to draft my account and charge the backup card, they closed the account, as well as a student account that were attached. 4 years later, no one other than paypal called me. Never was on my credit. Opened secondary steal accounts and kep using paypal and selling. BUT I do send money to the account and money orders to paypal at least once a month in an amount that I can afford.

I've had the chargeback fraud too. All they have to do is go their bank and say it was significantly different, the bank puts the money back into their account, paypal finds out a while later and you as a seller is SOL. I hate that because soe people have figured this out and will say they returned the item and didnt. Their bank doesnt require proof of return and once paypal sees the significantly different, you will lose the case. They dont want trouble wit card companies.

My paypal balance is negative $103.95. I live in Holland (The Netherlands) So what happend: Someone send me $120 paypal and he said it was a accidentel transaction wich I didnt read my mail like 5 hours later when I have already spend it. What jappends? PLEASE HELP ME IM SCARED??!

Nothing would happen, just the PP would be limited if you will not cover the negative.

Either sell some stuff to cover the negative balance or have someone send you some cash via PayPal......PayPal isn't going to break your door down to get that money, relax.
