I used to buy these 5$ tracfones for ebay and paypal, worked like a charm. but I recently stepped into a walgreen and the deal was gone. now they cost 15$ each, I am wondering if anybody knows anywhere I can still get them at 5$ per piece? thanks.
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!
I just go to Kmart where it's like 4.99 or something like that. I like Verizon's phones better though...have better luck with them. Around $12/ea and I load $5 at a time. I hardly ever need the phone, so it works out.
best buy runs em too from time to time. I will never buy the low end base 5 dollar ones. they suck, I bought one and even called tracfone 3 times and they couldnt get the phone activated. I basically had to throw it away as they wanted to mail me crap for the phone??? the ones on special are better 15 dollar ones for 5 bucks. I have had no problems with those. I actually found a cheap non flip 5 dollar one and it was complete garbage.
Do these $5 tracfones sold at these stores come with minutes already included or do you have to go shell out an extra $10 to add minutes to this phone.

If your getting a phone that cheap I doubt there going to give you an complementary minutes. I know you can find good deals at that discount chain Dollar General they always have them for $5.00 It's a two minutes drive from my house the smart phones r like 20...you have to buy the cards separately and if this helps you can use net10 cards on tracphone I guess there the same company maybe someone else on here has more knowledge then I do for the best pre-paid alternative.

Just read a post where these $5 deals come with 20 minutes for 60 days. Then you need to shell out $20 for 90 day service comes out to almost 7 bucks a month per account/phone. Seems quite a bit more expansive than online phone services.
I was at my local Kroger yesterday and saw $5 tracfones. I'm going to buy a few today actually. Seems the deal comes and goes...just as long as it keeps coming back...lol
Was wondering how long it would take for this to catch on.
Without prime shipping I always get these 2 days after ordering, and I'm over 700 miles from where they come from for me(Chattanooga, TN).
They don't stay at that price very long, and it's often months before you see that price again. I have about 500 spares sitting in my garage waiting to be activated.
Beware that these do NOT work for PP in most cases(code never comes through). Fine for EB.
