And right now I didnt even get any letter from customs, what should i do? Should I get a po box? I am so worry about it. Thx

if on the tracking it shows as seized consider your package GONE. DHL isn't a very good shipping option when getting items shipped. So far i have had the best luck with EMS and asking the supplier to have my items go through NYC Customs. They seem to fly right thought that place. Just my experience.

EDIT: it also has to do with your suppliers papers, a good supplier will have the paper work filled out properly.

Welcome to the forum. Yes, searching the forum helps a lot - lots of threads about this.

Did you use your real address? Either way, your address could be flagged and you will receive a letter.

If you wish to continue in your way, new address is in order.

All the best.

Thanks a lot, but I read other post and someone say the New York way is not working anymore, is that truth?

i can't say for 100 percent but so far it has worked for me. Longest i have had a packaged held in NYC shipped via EMS like 3 days. The others normally only 1 day and it goes through customs

look at there feedback, and talking to them. Talk to a few before placing your order. I have found the ones that really want your business will go out of there way to carry on a conversation with you and give you the information you request. I have talked to a few suppliers when i bring up specifics that i want to know about... the chat goes silent. THen i know i can't buy from them.. Again this is just from my own experience.

Go find 1 experienced supplier is very important for you ,because they have been doing this long time and they know how to value and packing your goods well ,and reduce the possiblity of being seized by custom.

Has anyone had a package clear customs after having been held for a week? This just happened to me and I found it rather odd/suspicious.

Yes, it happens all the time. Then I get the box with the green tape on it that says it was opened and re-sealed by customs. My package passed because the contents were legal - not branded, trademarked or copyrighted. But I have to believe that if they were knock-offs, they would have been seized.

Also, sometimes they put an entire incoming block of packages on hold for insection, but they end up inspecting very few. Then they all get released a week later.

These were copywrited items, opened and re-taped, and then released/cleared...

As far as I can remember.....
Every package that I have had seized I received a letter from the Customs folks telling me why the package was seized.
It has been because these items had the Dolby trademark on them.

Think about that....
