Express Mail is delivered on Sundays and holidays if you choose that option. Express Mail is even delivered on Christmas Day.

That $12.50 fee is still in addition to the express postage fee.

Yes, it is expensive. But, it can be useful in certain situations.

Sick fee for the weekend delivery but...if it's a last minute gift purchase, why not.

Provided the mail is getting thro' it is useful for those pesky buyers who purchase at the last moment...

$12.50 special delivery and seller's premium for arranging same can equal nice feedback. LOL.

Buyers never learn to purchase in good time.

why you guys saying its expensive? Doesnt ups/feex charge a similar fee for saturday delivery? ( saturday not even a real holiday )

Seems rather cheap to me especially if you pass it onto the buyer at a premium rate for that kind of special delivery.

And therein is the issue - for the buyer to pay it

Is definitely a good option to buyers that procrastinate. Can help to create repeat buyer relationships.

I have found that offering buyers the chance to score brownie points works in this way.

They return to buy.

Bless them too.

They pay the fees again

It is probably cheaper than FedEx, I only meant that it is a LOT to pay for delivery. If a buyer requests it and is willing to pay for it, of course I will do it. But when I give the quote - and I ONLY charge EXACTLY what the USPS charges - suddenly it is no longer so important.

There is one library customer that I have that always wants their stuff overnighted. They put me in as a user on their FedEx account and I sell them a lot of stuff! I sure would like a few thousand more of those customers!
