 Activating Simon Giftaccount Update!
So, I just got my simon giftaccount for a new paypal account I created. I went to go activate the card on simon's website and it kept screwing up. I put in all the information to activate it, and it kept saying "words don't match"
So I was like... WTF??? I don't know what the hell you are talking about????
Anyways, I knew it must have dealt with a captcha entry I missed. But I kept looking and looking to find a captcha code and could not find it at all.
So I looked at the Page Source code and looked through it, and found that it used java script. So I decided to see if there was an update I missed for the java I had installed on my computer. Sure enough, I had an older version.
I did the java update so I had the current version, tried to go back and activate my account. Sure enough, captcha entry was there!
So if anyone is having a problem activating the giftaccount, try updating your java at Java Downloads for All Operating Systems - Sun Microsystems |
