Ebay tracking + IP and Mac address scenario...would like to discuss
Ok so most of us have read the ebay stealth guide and know that changing MAC Address from router and rebooting cable modem will give you new ip address...etc...i'm talking about comcast/time warner, etc in u.s. in this scenario:
I have a 2 year+ ebay account that gets blocked along with paypal etc for whatever reason...these accounts are toast...i've been logging into ebay and paypal for 2 years and my dynamic ip has been changing over the years logging in...so:
Does ebay and paypal keep track of every single ip that you logged into on those accounts? if yes then does that mean that every single one of those ips is now BLACKLISTED? Or do they just "log" the current ip you have at the time you were "BLOCKED/LIMITED"?
The reason i ask this is that its great to do the mac address change and get new ips for your stealth accts...but how could you possibly know what Ips you may have logged into over the months/years etc on your first Suspended acct...which is why you would wanna start stealth acct(s)
From my understanding when you use cable as internet your modem will connect to the local "node" in your area and assign you an ip from a "pool" of ips specific to that node...think of a node as a cell tower from cell calls..when you travel around your city and use your cell it uses the closest cell tower to make the calls etc...so you will be getting ip's from your local node....these numbers recycle over time and it is possible to get same ip on 2 diff MAC IDS after the lease expires over time
After someone answers that first question i can get more into this..because if ebay just tracks your last ip when you got "suspended" then no need for me to go further....just dont wanna make a nice new stealth acct(s) only for 6 mos down the road get a recycled ip from my cable provider that will get me linked.....
