MoneyPak now requires SSN#!! For ANY amount!
 

After dumping $900 into Money Pak cards, I went to pay a few urgent purchases, only to find out that MoneyPak now requires SSN# to add the funds to your Paypal account!

It used to be if you added less than $250 to an account per year, it was instantly available with no info asked, but as of today I found that even adding $5 to paypal account with a MoneyPak card, requires a SSN#.

Does anyone know a way around this? I'm stuck without the cash, and no way to add it to my stlth accounts.

I don't think greendot share's your ssn with paypal, I usually just send the funds from other paypal accounts, never got limited for sending $10, $20 at a time.

Yea I found that out the hard way myself... Totaly sucks!

How many times a day do you do this?

I was talking about sending money to cover shipping or purchases for feedback, only once per account.

Paypal will do anything to get your SSN.

Paypal doesn't get your ssn, greendot does and they don't share it with paypal.
