Try using a fairly Common name, look up the name in white pages, take the zip code corresponding to that name and look up addresses for rent on zillow or something like that in that same zip code. Not sure if it helps but this is what i do... In conjunction with the tracfone i have not had a 0/0 since this thread started.

That's a good idea only thing is when i went to sell something on a new account but that had already sold one item, no problems, i was asked a security question before i could continue with the listing.
Which was
what is another ebay user id that is associated with your address on file?
Has anyone gotten this?

Also what i have noticed that if you confirm your bank account and your credit card there's about 8 out of 10 no problems with selling accounts as long as you list low risk items and not a lot at a time or back to back til its at least 2 or 3 months old

I agree the phone isn't the sole reason for getting 0/0 limits, though it can be a quick fix for a lot of people that are doing everything else properly.

It definitely has to do with the overall way the account is created. The way I look at it, 0/0 limits means Ebay finds something about your account suspicious. It's not a hard link or else you'd be indefinitely suspended right away, but something during account creation screams out stealth, so they want to talk to the account owner to confirm.

So.. for those still having problems, I suggest looking at the way you create accounts step by step and try to look at things from Ebay's perspective. Would this be suspicious to Ebay?

For phones, as I mentioned I'm pretty sure a non-stealth user whose creating an Ebay account for the first time would use their cellphone or landline. So using a VOIP number (or anything that shows up as VOIP) is a flag.

For IP addresses, having AT&T, Verizon, Comcast, etc (tethering and dongles are great!) looks a lot more legit compared to Random VPN Hoster, Inc.

And for addresses, of course 123 Real Street, Somewhere USA is a lot more believable compared to a phony address or a house with a phony apartment number tacked on.

You may be able to skirt by without getting 0/0 limits if you do one of those things I recommended against (especially if everything else on your account is fine), and that's definitely not an all exhaustive list of things to check for, so anyone still having problems, seriously sit down and think about your methods. Change 1 thing at a time if you have to, and see if that fixes the problem. Doing so will also help you understand how Ebay thinks, which will benefit you in the long run.

First I want to note that in my opinion, the stealth guide was a waste for me as I have run out of aliases to my own name that I can use and it gives no good information on successfully creating accounts with random names & real addresses. That said, even digging around this forum for ages has gotten me nowhere. Bits and pieces of hints but no actual instruction. Though I must say that this thread has shed some light on a few questions I have had.
I've not yet in 2014 made an account that had anything but 0/0 limits. All a waste of money. All of my other accounts are either from friends or bought (which I've not had good experiences with either (ie: 3mo to get an account, account suspended for what the maker was buying to get feedback)). I've been getting back on ebay since 2004-before I even knew it was a thing and my youngest account is 1.5y/o.
I don't sell volume on any account, I sell to pay for student loans since I live paycheck to paycheck and will always be behind. I have found that having different accounts for different types of products keeps the account around longer.

Just today I tried to start a new seller account after verifying paypal 100% last weekend. Ebay was created last weekend also. Windows user account was created two weeks ago to build cookies and history. I used the same Verizon jetpack to switch IPs that I've been using for the last three years and on all my current accounts. I used my grandfather's full information and still 0/0. Called in using my Virgin Mobile prepaid (with a brand new # that was used to register ebay and verify paypal) and they still couldn't verify it. This really has me thinking they really closed things off pretty tight.
Call me naïve but I don't see where I'm going wrong.

you shoud try to creat an acct everyday, and let some of the aged accts turn into seller accts. aged i mean more than 3 months. i havent gotten a 0/0 acct since last year when i messed up as a newbie. the accts you create today will be the ones you activate 3 mos from now, and you just keep creating them.

Order of operations is very important. Avoid Google voice.

Have you guys tried using local apartment complex office addresses? I have found those to be the most convenient for my personal stealths..

If worse comes to worst and you have an item returned to the address on file from a dispute (rather than the address on the label which I recommend being yours from stamps.com or similar), then you can easily pick up the package from the leasing office.

It was a brand new seller account I just opened last night. No aging. Opened a brand new seller account and listed my item.

My other accounts I created the same way, no aging...

It may be the items people are listing that are causing the 0/0 limits.

You can turn buyer accounts into seller withouts listing the first item.
Google: ebay seller account set up then click "set up seller account now" it takes you to the phone PIN page.
I like to see my limit first before listing the first item

I would agree with this, combined with using a real phone, really helps eliminate the 0/0 problem.

By create an account every day does that mean paypal 100% and an ebay buyer act?
[I also find it interesting to age it 3 months when the seller accounts I have bought have never been more than a few weeks old. But of course those ppl are pros]

Can anyone suggest anywhere in the forum where I can find current information on steps to take for creating accounts under random names/addresses? I've read the guide more times than I've read anything else in quite a while (sad comment on my life lol). Thus far I've really just found old information.
thanks

No, I don't go that far as far as PayPal 100%. They're all buyer accts with PayPal at like 40%. That means no bank acct attached nor gift card. But that's how I do it. Some may say it's too laxed, but so far has worked for me.
