So I shipped well not me but my person who does the shipping did ship. After it was in transit for 1 day it got stuck in transit. After this the buyer opened up a case on me. This is my #1 stealth that earns me $300 to $500 per month extra income. After this case was open I had 0 sales during that case time frame.

So I called up ebay and they escaladed it for me and said I'd win since I had tracking. Well I lost! Yet it was printed off their own website. And the rep on the phone didn't let me win the appeal on the phone and said it was my fault for it getting stuck since I picked out the carrier. Right because USPS is totally my fault and the US government! GOT IT!

Anyways as pissed off as I was for getting a .40% defect and losing a case for something not my fault. I said wtf why not. I reshipped it with the postage that got stuck in transit, it got scanned, it passed! :O

And it got delivered finally. So called up ebay and like they said they would remove the case from my account and refund me that money that I lost once it would show delivered. Sure enough it worked.

I didn't think USPS would allow you to reship a package with the same tracking and postage used that got lost in the mail.

I always taken screenshots of postages because I upload them to my site for my packaging person to download them and print them for my postages.

I always keep a folder for the month, and date of the orders. And saving these for 3 to 4 months kinda helps out at times.

So yeah anyone who runs into this problem do what I did. If you are soooo worried about your account and what not.

If you still didn't get your money back, then I would have advised to go after USPS and open a domestic claim to recoup your lost money. I have done this in the past and it has worked.

Good job taking care of that account though.

Yeah after this case got closed. I started to get my sales back up like nothing happened. But this was before I reshipped.

I really hate this new system but I guess when you got more stealths you are spreading it out. I am looking into 2 or 3 new products to lunch in the next few months.

I honestly want to quit ebay.

Oh and I've called in before about this problem but won the case even when it got stuck.

And USPS did offer to pay me for my missing item. But this time I just yelled at them and hung up. I never ask for the money back from them. I am not in the USA but 1 family member is.

This happens to me at least once every 2 weeks with USPS shipping specifically to Canada. In one recent case it was lost for about a week, and after I already reshipped a new item, magically reappeared and started moving again. So, now the buyer has 2 but my feedback didn't take a hit so it is what it is when shipping in volume. I am glad this resolved this way for you!

yeah me too I really hate that stuff about PayPal because I said you are protected but I guess not
