Default Do I need a VCC for eBay?

Hello everyone, just had a small question whats the point of having a VCC for eBay? Do I have to add a VCC on eBay?

If eBay is asking you to add a card it is usually for reimbursement fees.

So if your buyer opens a case and eBay refunds the buyer that will get claimed back from the card you added.

You can use a VCC or Paypal as a reimbursement method.

Paypal is "easier" but should the Paypal ever get limited (even temporarily), Ebay can remove the reimbursement method from your account and request you set up another. Failure to act on this request can result in ebay account suspension.

You can pay fees in advance one time with a VCC as well

ebay protects itself when you make sales. VCC is one way.

You can use paypal with its VCC too.

Look at using paypal for your needs.

I never add a VCC to eBay I always use paypal I just wanted to make sure im not doing anything wrong by not adding the card.

Well...that's your call - it's just safer not to have eB dipping into PP for funds

If a serious problem occurs, ebay can easily drain a paypal account and even leave it negative in some extreme cases.
