Im ready to setup my first stealth acct with sisters info. But...

Ok so I have read the guide. Read lost of posts. Educated myself as much as I can, now its time to get down to business. There is alot of information on this forum, in fact too much. I could sit here for months reading posts and educating myself, but at some point I gotta go for it.

Anyway, so my sister is in one state and I am in another. How will this effect the IP address issue? I have read in the guide that the IP address should be within 100 miles of the address I use. I have also read in some posts that it doesnt matter as long as its in the same country. Which is correct?

Should I have her setup the account for the first time at her place in her state and then take it over from here? Or will that create a red flag cause its a different state than originally registered in? Should I just start it from the IP here?

Also, I am her brother, so will there be a gender issue if ebay or paypal ever needs to talk to me? I assume ebay/paypal has someone reading these forums, right? I would rather not provide the name, but its typically a womans name. I have heard of a guy with the same name, but very rare. If they require ID/SSN verification they will obviously see its a female, so should she be the one to make/answer the call if needed? If I use her number/address how long should I wait until I change it to an address and phone number I come up with here?

Closer the better for ip but will not be the kiss of death alone. Using sisters info NO! just create an account here is a name instead of your sisters elbert wingsinger III.

Please don't use your sister (or anyone's info). Just make up a random name.

About the IP, the latter is correct. The location doesn't matter as much as the quality of the IP. As long as you're using a US IP that doesn't have a history of being abused (like a random public proxy - avoid ones like that), then you'll be fine.

No reason to use your sisters info, but don't worry about ip location as long as country matches you'll be fine.

Seems everyday some one is on here asking about using a family member or friends info to setup a account.

I think we need a red flashing banner at the top of the home page that says "NEVER USE FAMILY/FRIENDS INFO FOR STEALTH"

Keep in mind this is in eBay Stealth. When it was written, there were none of the present changes.

Methods evolve. Forum allows users to know best ways.

Thanks for the help guys. It does state in the guide about using a family members info, so I figured that was the safest way to go. Looks like I will use a made up name along with a LLC and EIN.

lucky the forum mods and executives are here to re-advise with updated safe stealth methods.

I'd hope they receive some $$ from old gen stealth guide royalties.

You don't need to worry about LLC/EIN until the account is established, and they ask for a SS# or EIN#. Don't spend $ you don't need to.
