After selling 2 items today on a 3-month old stealth account I went to click 'relist' item and got a nasty suprise - ebay would not allow me to use my paypal email address for this listing. So it appears that my paypal has been limited for the following reason ..... "It's been a little while since you used your account" (well it's not, as I've listed slowly & steadily since account was one month old).
Now PP want 1) Confirm bank account - when I clicked resolve it just goes to the ADD BANK ACCOUNT page. But I don't want to add another bank a/c.
2) Confirm credit card - Paypal will charge my cc with 1.50 EUR and will give a 4 digit code. I don't have enough funds on this cc and I wouldn't be able to see the code anyway as it's a VCC.
3) Proof of address, i.e. utility bill - this one I can manage.
4) Validate your account info - proof of address (again??? Grrrrr)
5) Provide Business information. Well it's not a business account and nor do I want it to be :(
Just to clarify, I've only listed about 10 items altogether in the last 2 months and half these have been household items.
Why has it become limited? Any shall I just bin it? It would take me ages to complete the 5 steps and even then not sure if I would get a result?
Sorry for the long one ..... NG
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!
I agree with you Wired, I don't whether they will reinstate it as the reason for limiting the account was so random. But I'll give it a go anyway. Thanks to this forum I have learned to have back up accounts but it's just a pi$$er to waste another bank account
I was going to try and save this one but now decided I'm not going to break into a sweat purely for EB's amusement. Onwards...... Have a nice day everyone!
