i have been suspended from ebay for not paying for a few items.All in all i won 3 items and i recieved one neg. and 2 unpaid item strikes. I have had 2 neg. in the past for unpaid items and the new neg. i just got suddenly made my ebay acc. suspended. I was wondering how long my suspension would last if ever. I would have made a new account but i use verizon fios and my ip adress stays the same for some reason.

HI- Why dont you start by trying to contact your sellers:
a.) If its possible pay for the items, and the strike gets removed
b.) the "VERY FIRST" strike you ever get--you can get a Gratis removal just by emailing them---its a given/an automatic
c.) if its a finincial hardship--why not contact the sellers and let them know--
I know whenever someone asked me--I ALWAYS let them out of the sale (I didnt want the hassle--the sale was not worth it to me )
d.) Ask the sellers to let you know how much they suffered in final value fees/ebay adv fees- + offer to pay this..
MOST sellers have heart.. + will help you..

I was looking over the Ebay uk reinstatment items that you have to send 1 of each from

1. Evidence of Name
* Copy of a current full UK Driving License (Old version) - old style provisional license will not be accepted.
* Copy of a Residence Permit issued by Home Office.
* Copy of both parts of a current UK Photo-Card Driving license.
* Copy of Building Industry Sub-Contractor's Certificate issued by the Inland Revenue.
* Copy of a Benefit Book or an original notification letter form the Benefits Agency confirming the right to benefits.
* Copy of a current signed passport including photograph.
* Copy of Inland Revenue Tax Notification with address showing.

2. Evidence of Address
* Recent copy of Utility bill or a certificate from a supplier of utilities confirming the arrangement to pay for services on pre-payment terms. Mobile phone bills are not acceptable.
* Copy of Local Authority council tax bill (valid for the current year).
* Copy of both parts of a current UK photo card driving license (if not used for evidence of name).
* Copy of Bank, building society or credit union statement containing current address.
* The most recent copy of a mortgage statement from a recognized lender.
* Copy of Local Council rent card or tenancy agreement with address showing.
* Copy of notification letter from the benefits agency confirming the rights to benefit (if not used for evidence of name).

I don't want to send them my passport or other sensitive data and more than half the items requested i don't have, can someone do a ps for me or help me get around this, i jave a bank statement and a dole book, would that be o.k?

Judging by everyone elses success, and my own, of sending in documents I wouldn't expect reinstatement or at least if they do reinstate not immediately.

I wouldn't trust crapbay again with any of my details or documents. I chased them and typically they said sorry we can't find them. You what I said I faxed them and got a sent receipt to prove transmission was good.

Just waiting now for ID fraud with some jerk trying to use my details. Just aswell I have ID protection with the credit reference agencies.

Still it just proved that the Powersellers dedicated phone line was a complete waste of time and false sense of security.

Hi there, my USA account that i bought was suspended today for vero reasons. I have all to documents to fax but as i am from Malaysia, do you think i should fax it?

Or if anyone here from United States is kind enough to help me fax and also put their number on the re-instatement so that ebay can call and confirm. I will be very grateful, i will send you all the documents to fax.

Aren't there free services online that'll fax this for you? I forget what the service is called, but I'm sure someone will post details about it.

And if you're selling VeRO items, you're not going to last long on eBay. I'd start working on back up accounts.

I have many backup Malaysian accounts, but i like this USA acc's because they sell much more!

I can create USA accounts with a proxy, but the problem is linking paypal acc. I think linking a Malaysian account will get it banned, any idea to get around this?

I use http://faxzero.com/ . You can Fax 1 document—maximum 3 pages and a maximum of 2 free faxes per day for free..

But what about the ads that they say comes with the free service. Will the ads disrupt anything? Will ebay see how un-professional the fax is and know its fake?

I have use them to fax to ebay and pp successfully. All they want is your info and as long as they get it I don't think they care where it comes from as long as they get it.

So far i can only register a USA account to sell on USA only by using vcc's

I am just wondering if anyone has gone through the above process. If so, what are the success rates?

One of my eBay accounts with my real name and address was suspended about 6 months ago for selling fake items that I had previously bought on eBay itself... I haven't touched the account since and I have been selling normal items on other accounts. They now have been suspended as they were linked to the old account. Thus, I thought the best approach (apart from create everything from scratch) is to get the original account reinstated (only if it were that easy). Can someone therefore share some experience on this matter please?

Any advice much appreciated.

HI:
Only problem, is NOW--you violated the RULE----Once suspended--cannot open/operate any other accts--
So:
options:
a.) Get your pc clean--I mean really clean of everything, then attempt to reinstate the old acct- maybe --

NO Wait a minute--just thought of something--my kids (8,11,14)--were playing around and opened ebay accts--
-I explained how detrimental to me this would be if ebay linked my older accts--I had them go on live chat- tell ebay the accts were hacked, they never bought/sold-they wanted accts closed-- ebay did this..
*Maybe this similar approach will work for you?>

Now- use the NEWER accts --ONLY at another pc/library
--IF the acct reinstatement doesnt work with faxing in the id/util bill- then
*** YOure gonna have to start over... sorry..

*ONLY thing you can do is try----you can deny the new accts were yours???
BUt..if theyre susp anyhow- to get them away from your old acct- try the ebay live---to get them closed out...

What if my fax details don't match for reinstatement on my 9rs old a/c, what can i tell ebay then to persuade them to let me back on?

i hardly ever updated my address details, didn't realise it was so important, so i don't know which address i'm registered on with ebay, i've been in rented accomodation for a number of years, i do have a seller invoice i sent to a buyer just before being suspended and on that it says buyer may post postal payments to ..................etc showing the address, so is that the address on file?
