Default We regret to inform you that your eBay account will remain suspended indefinitely.

Hi, have you ever received the following message from eBay?

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to write to eBay. I am happy to assist you further. Thanks for your request for appeal. We have reviewed your case, but we regret to inform you that your eBay account will remain suspended indefinitely. Our decision is based on the information you provided to us in addition to evidence from our records. While future emails from you will be read, we may be unable to respond.

Does that mean you will never be able to reinstate this account?

Is anybody able to get around with this issue? How?

Please let me know and thanks!

Mine said, You are indefinitely suspended. It is up to ebay whether or not an account will be reinstated.

Did you try the appeal and this is the result?

Once you get that email, there is a close to zero chance of being reinstated. And that slightly above zero chance is only if you really push it, with a lawsuit, complaints to the BBB and your state attorney general's office, and even then only if you were suspended for something other than illegal activity, such as VERO related, and you broke no EBAY rules.

Wow that sucks!
I submitted an appeal about 12 days ago-i am just curious about how long it took eBay to send you this email.
I am planning on following the instructions here and starting a 'stealth' account if i get a permanent ban.

Sadly there is no hard & fast time frame for ebay to send the email to advise you. From my own experiences, never quickly enough. Without going into too much detail, a reply may even depend at what 'stage' the scrutiny is....subject to the generic 'bye-bye' or being
read by a T&S....

Yup, I waited over a year and I got the same email. They will never take me back and too bad for them. I don't deal with rejection very well.
