 eBay UK: cheap solution for phone verification and UK IP connection from abroad
I’d like to share something I have tested for other purposes and can be useful to other members.
If you want to manage a UK PayPal account from abroad there is a nice feature with Three mobile that could be quite handy for people living in one of the “feel at home” countries like Italy. These countries can use UK SIM like they were actually in the UK with very cheap roaming costs.
I purchased, off eBay, a cheap Internet Data SIM, which comes with an associated UK mobile number, to be used in an unlocked dongle (unbranded).
Data connection is giving me a UK IP and the associated UK phone number can be used to verify PayPal with text code.

It was already enabled for roaming and since it was sealed in his package, I guess all are.
If you plan to go for it I think there are more convenient data SIMs which lasts one year for 12GB traffic. SIM can be topped-up with money but in my opinion a little bit expensive. Up to you.
