Advantages to be taken out of 10 days in Latvia (EU country)

im currently in Latvia as part of my vacation trip.
If someone who've had past LV expierence or local stealth guru could advise on advantages not to be missed while here or any other things e.g PP withdrawal to the card, opening bank accounts etc.
Would appreciate any info guys!

Just forget about this in Latvia. Latvia is one of the hardest banks to open a bank acc if you are not a resident (even if you are an EU citizen). SEB and Swedbank will ditch you right away. Other banks will require proof of funds and eventually 150 euros just to consider your application for an account.
If you register your residence in Latvia its easier, Citadele does it quite quickly.

Yes,he is 100% right + hight fees to withdraw money in other countries,other countries banks is much cheaper,when i travel to latvia i don't bother to use my latvian bank,i use uk cards.

If you are visiting Latvia you can buy Latvian SIM card for 1.50€. Active and can receive SMS confirmations abroad.
