Default The 90 day rule...

Right chaps...

Is there still the 90 day rule of holding payments for new sales for a new account?

I have a new ebay account linked to a great paypal account which has been standing for 2 years. will they still hold payments etc?

Is it correct that once feedback is left they will remove the hold?

cheers all.

Why have you a new eBay account linked to a 2 year old PP account?

Ebay will risk access you on your Ebay account selling status not your " Great " PayPal status, i.e transactions, payment methods, account activity, payments received Ebay are getting uptight now. But I think it's really risky linking a 2 year old Paypal account to a newly registered Ebay account, as the Paypal account ever been linked to another Ebay account. If so Ebay will link the account and suspend your account instant. Have you purchased the Ebay stealth guide? well worth the money and it saves you money in the process of making errors and mistakes you would in the first place. I would totally recommend it!

The reason is becuase I am selling across a few ebay accounts all linked to the same paypal account, has worked fine for a good 2-3 years now without any suspension etc...I just needed a new ebay right now for some specific things.

I have another question if you chaps dont mind.

On the new account it says there is a limit of 100 items per month...WELL Im trying to sell something which has multiple itinery so for example I have over 200 of the same product to list on the the same listing in various different colours....but it wont let me as I can only do 100. I read the help section, it says to lift this i need to verify my identity 'via Global Bank Verification or by going to the PayPal website. '

I clicked the paypal link, signed in and the message i get in return is ...

Thank you JOE! Your identity has been confirmed.

Your information is secure
You've taken an important step to keep eBay a safe place to buy and sell.

Problem now is that I still have a 100 item limit, why is this?

Thanks

All new accounts have a selling limit imposed.

Can be as low as 10 per month.

If you have other accounts in good standing then give ebay a call and they will lift the limits.

my other account is currently on a 'below standard' until 20th april hence quickly opening this one to get rid of some stock etc.

i think if i phone them they will tell me to 'pee off' do you agree?

i would have thought this 100 limit would have been removed when i succesfully linked the paypal account.

Just to answer one of your questions.... yes, your funds get released once buyer leaves feedback... what I do is I post 1st class so the buyer gets item next day, gets impressed with speedy delivery and ends up leaving me top feedback and I get my funds next day released.

Some buyers pay at 5:30pm and their item is with them the next morning! - some of them cant believe it - I provide a better service than most billion dollar/pound companies - where's my millions? ha ha
