Default Your seller performance is below standard

Next evaluation is 20th April.

By that date will my 'Closed cases without seller resolution' be sorted out on itself as long as I dont pick up any more in that department? I think my account has fallen below the waist o nthe most stupidest thing. I have been so busy I just let ebay deal with those cases, i should have sorted them myself. Silly me.

So, just to re-iterate by 20th April, next evaluation should everything be cool?

Check under the 'count' section. it might take a whole year to close.

For instance on the 20th of each month, some cases will close. But the new 1s against (last month) will take up to 11 months to close.

Its a shocking policy!

if i go on my daily performance, it says 4 cases are closed without seller resolution... and its about 0.24% so im hoping it stays like that.

i think it doesnt matter about the amount of cases, its more about the percent right?

if the percent of cases closed by ebay is under that 0.3% by the 20th i should be ok?

IN ADDITION....

the last evaluation is dated 20th march 2011 and the Evaluation period: Dec 01, 2010 - Feb 28, 2011

therfore

the next evaluation is dated 20th april 2011 and the Evaluation period: Jan 01, 2011 - Mar 31, 2011

SO...

if i can keep under 0.3% by 31st March everything should hopefully be OK......

i think guys?

If the count was in this month or last you will have to wait a further 11 months for it to clear.

but on my current daily performance it says i am under the threshold..

0.27, and the threshold is 0.30 %

this period of evaluation is between jan - end of march

therefore im thinking if i keep it at 0.27% by the end of march i will pass the evaulation on 20th april...

know what i mean? 5 of the cases from the original evaluation have cleared on my daily performance...

as long as they clear then ull be fine.

Some cases can go as far back as 11-12 months. Therefore when a year passes all cases will be cleared and your good to go.

Butttt it goes by count, so for instance you had 3 counts in this time of march last year. Then they would have been cleared now. As they get evaluated every 20th of the month

i supose ill find out next Friday when the period ends. Im under the percentage threshold and it has a TICK next to everything for daily performance so fingers crossed dude.

Im appealing some cases too ( abit cheekily) so maybe get one deducted too.

I've got a few good accounts that have went to "below standard" its a real pain. So am i clear that it will take a full 12 months to return back to normal?

Yes iam the same boat i fell below standard in one month i got 3 cases disputes i tried to sort them out with buyers but they could not wait and put a dispute in so i can not sell now. I email ebay about these disputes and hope to get it fixed but ebay replied and just said i could not sell any more but can still buy and give feedback on this account. What a joke rating system is. Yes it is pile of cow sh*t

Hi,

Had an account limited because of bine below standard 4 months ago.

Each time the 20th rolls around im still limited despite no further cases opened. From what i can agther im going to have to wait another 8 months before i can sue this account again.

Crazy crazy system as there is nothing to vet if a buyers case is genuine or not.

So yes you may have to wait another year before you can use it.

Does anyone know if linking a new eB account the the paypal accounts linked to these limited accounts will lead to both accounts being suspended? I only ask as there was no email from ebay warning me from using any other accounts while limited.

Thanks

Hi. I think it depends on how many open cases there were in the previous month. To the people saying you have to wait a year could you post up a screen shot of your daily perfoance please? Just so I can see what's going on.

I don't understand why you would have to wait a year. Right now my daily performance has ticks next to everything and the amount of cases have been halved since my last evaluation. Fingers crossed as I need this account active and selling proper.

Just to clarify the situation on one of my accounts to give yo an idea of what you might be in for.

300 plus 100% positive feedback - not that it makes a difference

All DSR ratings at 4.7 or higher

Account has been below standard since december last year for cases opened (i had several items go missing in one shiment, buyer refunded and happily closed the case - even left positive feedback but still the sace counts as a black mark)

Account is still below standard and as such is useless for selling on as its visibility is a joke.

eB say the account will be evaluated each month - 3 months on and still below standard and limited.

Madness.

Seems pointless calling ebay anylonger so account is left to rest and other accounts made to back up - seems this is the only solution?

Thanks

hi,

it all depends on you sales figures, if you have not sold enough stuff your evaluation is based on a 12 month figure which will include all the cases and bad stuff within 12 months. if you have sold lot of stuff over past 3 month period then your evaluation is the last 3 months, its somehting like 8000 in 12 month period or something like that.

anyway i went on live chat with the ebay geeks and i asked what my status would be on 20th april, she told me i would be gold powerseller with 'top rated seller' by my name...should i believe them? she seemed to be confident and sure this would be the case.

i have had no cases opened in march and all the ones from december which was a bulk of them have been knocked off as the period is january - march for my evaluation.

I'v basically got 17 days to wait and see. this past month has been ****, the sales have dried up due to non seller performance which is annoying.
