ebayhateluv 07-14-2008 10:47 AM

LOL.. I read a post last year--where a guy actually moved and bought a new house just to get a new ebay id.. :)

greg2414 07-14-2008 11:18 AM

roffle lol!

jerkyboy1 07-15-2008 09:25 PM

lol.......that is just funny this guy must have been on some drugs or crack!

makaveli23 07-16-2008 12:07 AM

LOL...I gotta admit something guys. Before I found this site and read the book I used to think that the only reason I kept on being suspended is because the ip address kept on linking me to my physical home address. I used to think I would never be able to get back on and actually do work at my physical home. Dumb eh? Well at least I can honestly say I would have not moved and bought a new house for eBay but you have to understand some individuals out there who have been screwed by eBay are very ignorant to the security and tracing measures. This eBook and site helped me understand a lot of things.

there are alot of things people dont realize
:p

philly387 07-16-2008 09:55 PM

Finding all the information in the world is the only key to a successful ebay account it seems like...and that might not even be enough!

paybay 07-16-2008 09:58 PM

no thats no true there are many powersellers with shops full of copy items
and they trade on ebay for years and years thanks to abit of imagination and adobe photoshop

philly387 07-16-2008 10:09 PM

Sorry, I was being a little sarcastic... :)

paybay 07-16-2008 10:33 PM

Hi, I am new on this forum and for the past week I've done nothing but read through it. Reading this forum has answered many questions, I just have 1 more that perhaps some1 knows the answer to. As I am in fact moving home next week, I was wondering if this is enough to reset your IP, even if you carry your current services (& net supplier) over to new address??
I have tried every thing that was suggested to reset or change my IP, and it looks like the only way for me is to use a proxy. However as I am moving home I haven't bought a subscription to 1 as yet, so I was wondering if moving will be enough to reset your Ip or should I drop my current supplier and get BT or something?
By the way I am not moving because of ebay lol:), I just stumbled across this thread as I happen to be moving and it left to wonder...............
Would be greatful if anybody respons, & thanx in advance!!!;)

You're laughing, but I have seriously been considering it.

If its for buying, you can just go ahead and setup a new account in your own details. Should be fine with simple stealth procedures, such as new user account etc.

For selling, stealth is the best way forward :thumb:

P.S. What a thread revival!

It will definitely change tour IP. Have you checked to see if turning your router off and back on changes it? Most of them do unless you have a static IP.

The user has been gone for 11 years. Doubt you'll get a reply.

Yeah but what if you have a good standing non-stealth paypal account ?

Even for buying won't using that account immediately link you to a suspended and put a good paypal account at risk of suspension as well ?

Re: Easiest way to verify!!!

No, it really won't.

I made a new seller account when I moved a few years ago and sold on it for several years before eventually losing it for something completely unrelated.
