Good news I was looking to see if the outcome was good and I am pleased for you.

Please make sure you NEVER do it again as you have been very lucky

I thought id bump this rather than starting a new thread.

I messed up a little and had this happen to me. The account is running fine, plenty of money in the Bank account to cover fees when the echeque takes it.

Will it be ok as a one off ?

Your bank account name will be given to PP when the bank makes the transfer, you cant see this, but PP can...it will be picked up when PP do a manual merchant review.

Is this something that can happen anytime or is it a monthly thing?

I've messed up and done this on one of my ebay accounts. If I pay the fees manually with credit card will it stop the echeque? (about 4 days to go) does anybody know?

It wont stop the check no. You have to wait for the check to fail and then make the payment via VCC

Worst case is your bank account gets removed and you have to phone PayPal to get it manually readded.

Repeated mistakes of this nature can lead to worse than just bank removal - just saying to avoid.
