Re: Paypal trying to take fees from bank via echeque
Have searched for a solution but found nothing rock solid... Should I remove the bank account from paypal, should I ring the bank and remove the direct debit or should I just let it roll... Not sure which is the best out of the three and even then none of these seem to be a promising solution :(

Also pay your fees in advance with a cc before fees are due
I usually pay the fees in installments to keep them down at the end of the month, the money is in the bank to pay them but I dont want them linking my real name to my stealth name. Ill certainly not be repeating this mistake, it goes to show that your not even safe if the moneys in paypal to cover the fees, especially with disputes being opened like legs in a brothel!

Thanks ClapClap
So the money will definately go through wont it, my bank wont stop it? Ive enough in paypal to pay my fees now but im thinking about emptying it. It states that its pending until the 31st so after that I might stop trading on the account until the coast is clear, just in case they rob me of any money.
Re: Paypal trying to take fees from bank via echeque
Yes so it seems the payment is on its way from the bank. If you are lucky the fees will leave your bank and nothing will be said.
I think it would be wise to empty your PP account but leave enough to cover the dispute plus your current fees.
Saying that if you have a small amount left in your PP I would leave it in there.
The problem you have is there isn't really a right or wrong way of doing things in your position its just a waiting game to see if any flags have been raised.
Just pray its a spotty new worker at PP and they cant be arsed to see what the problem is on your account lol.
Re: Paypal trying to take fees from bank via echeque
I withdraw whenever I get about £100 in my PayPal, about once or twice a week. BUT before every withdrawal I always manually pay my ebay fees from my PayPal balance. Therefore an autopayment has never happened.
Been doing this for about 9 months on all my accounts with no problems and quick limit increases.

Will be gutted though, this is my first stealth so will be gutted if I lose it due to something so stupid... Im just glad we learn from our mistakes!
Someone mentioned that they pay their fees every day so they never get a bill... Sounds like a good idea if you ask me!
I lost my two stealths before I became a legend lol. You live and learn. I pay my fees via PP every Friday and I have never had a problem since, its always gutting but if you 'chin up' and carry on you will have a number of accounts that are doing too well then you will be on this forum moaning how to keep up lol.
Re: Paypal trying to take fees from bank via echeque
Your real name will show on the electronic transaction details.
It will probably only be picked up if there is a manual review of the account at some stage, so although your account may be ok at present you should still treat it as tainted.
