So have a new pp.

Need to upload docs for proof of ID.

BUT...i have the new interface for the account and i cannot for the life of me, find the god damn button about raising limits or uploading ID.

It has simply disappeared, its no where.

Any advice on where to find?

I don't think he is limited, rather looking for somewhere to upload documents to lift the £1900 receiving limit.

I've no experience with the new interface and lifiting limits so cannot help. Have you tried the resolution centre?

Steve bills i hate to say this, but i do not like your attitude, and you are wrong.

It is a brand new account.

Registered this week.

I went through the process of adding a bank account, card, etc.

Then I had to confirm ID, etc, went through process then it said cannot be verified so need to upload docs to confirm ID.

The page then re-directed me to the pp account page with new interface, where i cannot locate the page to 'lift limits' or upload docs.

I have recieved an email thanking me for confirming bank which has raised one of the limits, maybe the withdraw limit.

So to conclude i need to upload docs, but cannot for the life of me, find the button or location on new layout for this.

Steve, please dont post on this thread.

blueuk -> thank you for your response.

There's a lot of reported issues with the "new look" Paypal website. If you can see an option to switch to the Classic Website then try that.

If that fails then contact Paypal and ask for assistance.

apologies accepted but use this as a lesson in future

- do not jump to conclusions
- do not be rude
- maybe use your glasses in future and read properly before shouting?

have a nice day.

Seems to me, there is a date after which new accounts can not switch to anything.

Faxing might be the next option.

I uploaded documents today with the new layout. Click on the Business Profile button which is next to the logout button then go on Business set-up, then click on account set up and you should see "lift limits and move money more easily" Click that and it will take you to the lift receiving limits page.

With the new look, warning flags will appear near the logout button or just above the summary on the main page.

If you are not able to proceed, you have a good excuse to pick that phone and dial PayPal.

Good luck!

I stumbled across the part to upload docs but when I submitted them it redirected me to the home page of account.

Do you usually get a reply email saying thanks? I can't remember.

Worried they haven't gone through.

New look site is all over the place .

Now when I go back to the upload page there is nothing there. No docs.

But I can upload. Should I upload again or wait?

Even if you fax it to the UK number (the 08707 one IIRC), it will still likely be reviewed by someone outside of the UK.

It is only when impatient folk start phoning up asking why they are being kept waiting that competent Paypal reps (yes, there is such a thing) start to look at the account.

Use efax.co.uk

Sign up for their 30 day free trial but use a vcc loaded with £1 as cancelling the subscription can be difficult.

As usual Ebayorbust is in the know.

Make sure you keep track of the EXPIRY date of the free subscription.

They are nasty about cancelling.

Good Luck

You'll get an email when they enter the documents into their "system". After that, sit back, relax and enjoy the wait.
