Default bike part cuatomer not happy

I sold a Sigma bike computer for £30 and customers said it been 4 days and not arrived so he wants another one sending out next day delivery as he needs it for a Gibraltar bike ride on Saturday
I never offered next day and he never asked for it and was free postage and for some reason its still in transit for Monday delivery
what should I do send one for free and wait till he gets back for Gib in 2 weeks and see if he sends it back as his feedback is only 16 and account is 2 months old?

Was the only option free postage?

How did you send it 1st/2nd recorded etc?

And what did the dates say when it should arrive on your auction?

I always send things free postage but always offer a next day delivery method (special delivery etc). And always state could take up to 15 working days until item is classed as lost, and if you want it quicker chose the correct postage.

I would not send another after 4 days.Just tell him its been posted and as was only sent 1st/2nd then could take up to 15 days to arrive. If you wanted it quicker then should have asked about next day delivery etc.

Personally something not adding up. If you have a bike ride aboard you don't leave it til last minute to get something that important. Or if you do you make sure its next day delivery etc.

Gosh, what happens that buyers dont get your items?

What company did you use?

Was the listing clearly defined as to delivery?

Did you get it despatched in a timely fashion?

Item is not lost tracking says its going to be delivered on monday

It very well may get there before then.

I won't resend it, the only issue is that no one will be there (maybe) to sign for it.

As long as it arrives/attempted within the time slot you give on ebay you be fine.

So if date on your dispatch email, auction says 'delivery between friday 19th and tuesday 23rd sept' then you did that.

It's his own fault for not asking for next day, or going with another buyer who says next day delivery.

Need to hire your own business tutorial - forum is more geared for setting up stealth accounts but your turning it into some sort of how-to-operate-your-own-business site hah

tell him you cannot control the courier, and you go by their website and do not resend it....
he did not pay for express delivery/next day, so tough....a neg for something like that is not a biggie, just reply underneath saying it was sent within stated parameters.....

btw myhermes have never done mine in 2 days, normally 3.

You could always just say sorry but I have been a way for a few days and just got your message. Hope you have a good time away and if the item is bounced back to me then I will wait until you get back to see what you wish to do.
