If I remember right, PayPal do not like standing orders only direct debits!

Ffree doesn't accept PayPal transfer, so you can't withdraw.

Ffrees works fine for pp. They just reject the direct debit but the withdrawals go through fine.

Correct. As long as you dont let it get kicked its fine. Re-add via withdraw section.

So sounds like this account is added in the same way as savings accounts, by ignoring the kickback of the direct debit, and just add it again when the withdrawal time arrives

You're adding it the wrong way then, this message is becoming a lot more frequent for 'out of the norm' type bank accounts.

Tip: Dont use the old PayPal

yes frees is good to use.
Have been using it on one account for more than 6 months now, no problem so far.
However if you opt for the basic account keep in mind you can only have a maximum of £5000 deposited at any one time. Not that you would keep all of that money on any account attached to a paypal anyway but worth knowing.
