Default Increased selling limt

After getting a increased selling limt yesterday From 50 items £1800 to 150 by £5200

And after putting on extra listings today ebay is now asking me to register as a business account , I had put on around a extra 5 listings but most of them have 20 to 30 items in each lot ,

I had got a red warning telling me about the eu rules but it's not letting me list anyway around this ?

If it won't let you list then you will have to register as a business.

I've found when you hit 100 items it asks you to upgrade to business.

Why don't you want to?

Private sellers are enrolled in managed returns so the return addresa isn't an issue. If a buyer wants a return they will get one.

I am not sure what you mean by 'full stealth no links'

Do you think when I have sold some of the 100 listings it will allow me to relist if I leave it for a few days and just build me cookies searching and reading information about business accounts

From my experience PP is asking for suppliers info only if you list too fast to many. They want to be sure you have goods on and and they are legal.
Dont list too quick on new accounts, let them grow naturaly.
Even if its mature account increases should be gradual. This is a way to go.

Rather than make my own thread, I just want to share my own joy on the same topic.

I started stealth 1.5 years ago. I got everything verified and called up once to get my limit to 100/ 3500. At that point I realized it's a bad idea to call in so I didn't do it again.

I was selling 3500 per month in the first week of each month for a 1.5 years with no increase. There were rumors that if you have ever phoned in for an increase then you won't get a natural one. There were also rumors that business accounts don't get auto increases. Also a lot of people saying that accounts can get stuck on 100/ 3500 forever.

Anyway, 10 minutes ago I got an email.. increase to 500/35,000!

I think that this is down to my defect rating. Previously it had been hovering around 4% but over the past 5 months or so I worked it down to 1.3% and now finally the limit increase arrived.

I'm happy!

Thanks tanned ,, it's prob me maxing my account out on the first day of the increased limt or taken it over the 100 items ,,

John you have played the game very well ,, good on you ,,

Anyway I can now edit my listings after selling around 45 items today but I have not tried to list anymore I will let my other item end or wait till the turn of the month then try and relist ,, going to try and keep it personal account till I get my other ones up and fully running

Anyone else experianced this kind of block with ebay listings when you hit over the 100 items
