Any logistic company deliver cheaper than royalmail?

I get frustrated today because I simply don't know how the international sellers are cutting corners with deliveries.

To start with my item is thicker than 3CM, so I will struggle to send it as a large letter. Next option will be S Parcel and it will cost £2.50. So even at £3.99 I will struggle to make 50P in profit per item unless I picked them from the gutter but alas, an experienced seller is selling this same item for £1.70 from Singapore with FREE delivery to UK.

Are these guys using some sort of drones to deliver directly from Singapore or is there some sort of arrangement with royalmail to carry small parcel for less than £1 I dont know off?

I think I have come across a logistic company that claimed to be way cheaper than royalmail but I've got to be doing thousands of parcel on a monthly basis before I could get on their book. Could these guys be dealing with such logistic company? I think the name was international Logistic group, not 100% sure though its been many years.

I have been priced out of market on this one, no way to compete and be profitable unless I know their holy gray delivery mechanism

Singapore,China etc get special deals with royal mail, I wouldn't worry about them too much, lot of buyers want it faster.
I use business mail and lots of my 3cm items become large letters.
Probably are logistic companies that are cheap, amazon is cheap for amazon sales so I'm sure theres similar for ordinary, they won't be ones paying £1000s per month to rank on the first page of google for 'fulfillment company' though so dig deep

Hey man, chill... From a personal point of view- I'd rather pay £5-10 MORE if the item gets to me within couple of days.
If a product A costs me £3 but gets here within 30 days, but product B costs be £8 but gets here before the weekend then I will go with faster postage item every single time.

I'm sure 80% of people who shop online go there to get items quicker, not always cheaper. If time wasn't important people would be waiting for a monthly carboot sale and spend 8 hours trying to find the right lightbulb.

Youd be surprised how many people do this lol, but you are Right on Point about TIME, The top dogs know this and thats why over the years although quality has diminished somewhat, fast delivery has become the bencmark of good service, and time slots, some parcels turn up on sundays knowadays...

I have just ordered a wireless mouse from Amazon. I paid £10 from a UK seller rather than choose the £4 one from China which will take 15-20 days for delivery.

I don't really use amazon to shop, but I couldn't believe how many items are coming from China.
