Default Anyone ever has this before?

Hi guys, got this email yesterday and my PayPal has been limited. Just to advise, my eBay was restricted earlier on in the day due to an MC011, waiting for them to verify docs on monday and reinstate the account. Anyone ever had this before?

"Dear **********,

We emailed you on asking for additional information about your account. Since we haven’t received a response from you, what you can do with your account has been limited further.

Your PayPal account has been limited because your sales volume has increased significantly. This probably just means your business is doing well. However, as your payment processor, we need to better understand these changes and how they relate to your sales."

Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated

Not really sure what advice it is you're looking for??

Supply what they are asking for and hope for the best.

The Paypal limitation might be related to the ebay restriction or it might just be coincidence. Either way both are related to what you are selling and the quantities being sold.

Time to look over that business plan.

Something is not going well to have both accounts on the line.

This is a worry for you.

Got an email from eBay earlier today stating that the documents were accepted however I need to get the PayPal issue resolved to fully reinstate the account.

PayPal sent me an email the morning after submitting the docs, stating that they cannot lift the limit until all open clases are closed. Thing is, there hasn't been an open case on the account for around a week now. I know its risky ringing in, but the woman on the other end said that it was a mistake on the review teams half and that she would escalate it. Waiting for a reply now...lets hope all goes well.

I just don't get it, the woman on the phone was so nice and she assured me it would be lifted later today :(

But you have more knowledge regarding this area so I will follow your advice and simply use the message centre from now on.

This happened to me last month. I stopped selling full time over a year ago and started again a couple months ago. Straight away I was getting quite a lot of sales and both my ebay and paypal were limited/temporarily restricted. I immediately live chatted with eBay and they requested documents, so did paypal. I sent over the documents to eBay and they said that they couldn't lift the restriction until my paypal was unlimited. However to lift my paypal limit they requested information that i wasn't able to supply. They asked me to send them tracking numbers for my last 5 sales however a few of them I sent without tracking as they were smaller cheaper items. I did email them several times telling them this but I just kept getting automated responses. They also asked me to send my supplier invoices to prove I owned the items I was selling so I just made a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ one up on word as I didn't even have invoices. After waiting a week hoping it would resolve itself I just decided to phone up. The first time I called paypal they said they would sort the problem and email me within the hour which they didn't so I phoned again the following day and it was sorted and back to normal that day. When I phoned up she asked me my supplier contact information etc which I gave over the phone and that was it really. It might be worth phoning up again and sorting it out.

Was this a stealth paypal account that got limited? What was their reason for the 180 day limit since I thought they just requested more information from you?

Too much risk or something along them lines and they'd like to part ways in 'the least disruptive way'...the c*nts just ended one of my stronger stealth accounts lol
