Activity: 0% Longevity: 46% | | Been stuck with 10 item limit for too long now
I've been previously banned from using eBay, and when I moved house I managed to set up a new eBay and PayPal account with my new real details.
I've now been a member on eBay for 3 years and sell regularly. My eBay account is a business account (in vat registered too), have successfully completed PayPal verification with documents that were requested when converting that to a business account. I have 360 feedback (99.4% positive - only 1 negative) and have just been made a power seller. I can list as much as I like in the Business category, but any other category I'm limited to 10 items/£650 per month.
I'm really worried about phoning eBay to ask for higher limits so have just been making do with the 10/£650 limit but I really need higher limits now.
Can anyone offer any speculation on why my limits haven't increased automatically, yet I've been made a power seller?

Shoot them over a message on chat.
If you have good solid selling history then you wont have any issues.

Just 10 items 650 that's too low what you mentioned
If I was you then ring them, normal question they ask and they will increase the limit.
If they found any issue they will tell you nothing to worry

Just go on chat, you'll get a bump to 500 items, its the way to do it and part of the way if doing it when creating new stealth accounts and getting high opening limits, although a few other things need to be in order for that one.
Calling them is easy enough as well - same set of questions each time, nothing complicated or complex as long as you're not selling foo

Its unlikely that they will get an increase from 10 items to 500 items really
Most the time it would be 50, maybe 100 items if they have decent selling history.

Saying all this chaps it does all depend on what you are selling... you sometimes don't want ebay to be looking at your sell history.

Most sellers have at least a couple of accounts stuck at low levels. Unless you are confident of handling a phone conversation with them over this issue, and the fact that you have not already done that suggests that you are not that confident, then best to go for the chat option with them. As has been said don't tell them to much of your info when on the chat. Using chat option in an easier less potentially stressful way of contacting them.

Can I request an increase on a standard seller account , or do you have to upgrade to business ,
does upgrading cause any problems with stealth accounts

does upgrading cause any problems with stealth accounts | You can (usually they give up to 100 items). Upgrading doesn't have any problems. But upgrading would mean you have to accept returns for items.

To increase limits on my new Ebay account Ebay is asking if i have another account and to give them username phone number and zip. Would they link the 2 accounts and will they share that info with Pay Pal.

If that is the case then you would need to ring them
Just make sure you have everything to hand and that you have any docs that they may ask for (invoices, ID ect) ready to email into them if they need it
