Default Account restricted. In need of your advice.

Hi there. I'm in need of your advice.
Recently my eBay account has been restricted for 30 days because one of my item has been considered unauthentic. I've sold and I still sell items of the same brand and never had any problems. This particular item in my eyes is 100% authentic and eBay wasn't able to tell me what made it unauthentic.
I've been advised by eBay to stop selling branded items to avoid these type of situations. That basically means closing down my business.
I only sell originals and I'm always very scrupulous in selecting and selling authentic items. I have 100% positive feedbacks.
I've been told that if I have the same problem again, (and so if they spot another 'unauthentic item'), my account will be suspended indefinitely. It's totally shocking.
What would you advise?
What other websites would you suggest for second hand stuff?

Thanks

You can offer to provide them invoices to prove authenticity.

What brand is it?

What you can sell often depends on the strength of the account. ie a powerseller with 1000 feedback gets more leniency than a brand new account

You could try Gumtree (Ebay owned) or Facebook selling sites for this one particular item.

Thanks for the answer.

This item is second hand (or even third). I bought it on eBay, and the previous owner bought it on eBay as well. Ebay never warned those other sellers or removed their listing. It happened to me only.

Talking about Ray-Ban sunglasses. I know that it's a big brand but what about Apple or Samsung. They're probably the biggest selling brands on eBay and sellers get away with it.

I know, but mine were all authentic and with tons of photos to show the little details that prove that.

Do you think gumtree will create the same problem even if it's eBay owned?

Thanks

If they're authentic, contact eBay and provide authentic invoices. I've never had issues selling authentic products with authentic invoices

Ebay only remove items when they get so many complaints from customer about phake items so if they done this tour items must not genuine

Amaozn is worst single complaint will shut your account

I'm selling second hands. So there's no receipts. All these iPhone/ipads/whatever sellers do not have receipts...or anything in general with a brand that it's sold on eBay and it's second hand, it's very rare that is listed with a receipt.

Never received a single complaint for non authentic items. Nobody ever returned them. They were all happy to receive the item described. I have 100% positive feedbacks.

Where did you get the pair of glasses that were flagged?

Ebay. Bought them from another seller and he didn't get a warning nor his listing was removed. And he as well bought them from another sellers too on eBay! I was the only one to get a warning and the listing removed.

You're not the only one.

Takedowns happen all the time. I would list on Gumtree and see how you get on.

If gumtree is eBay owned, will they do the same thing?

There's no fees on gumtree but there's a lot of anarchy. You don't know if the person you're dealing with is reliable. No feedbacks to check.
