Re: Entropay Card Problem With PayPal
I just log in and view items, watch items etc. Then when I'm about ready to sell on an account, I add entropay and bank at the same time, verify the bank and verify the entropay card with the 4-digit code. Then I list a few cheap items and very slowly build up to selling my usual items. I usually have 20 selling accounts on the go at once.
Most frausdters are in it for the quick smash and grab. If you've ever listed a high-value item and had a nibble from a scammer, typically their account is less than 2 days old. If PayPal and eBay can prevent people that use non-avs cards(cards which prevent PayPal from identifying your address) from bidding and listing quickly, they will wipe out a good number of the scammer's accounts. Most sellers selling highly-stealable items will set their buyer requirements to 'has a CC on file'. I can tell you from my own experience that there has been a huge increase in people trying to send mocked up PayPal emails and requesting items be shipped to another address. What'a more, 2 years ago, these morons were asking sellers to ship to Nigeria. Suddenly that moved to Holland, and now they give you a UK address.
Forum members may have their own ideas on aging their accounts before using them, but there's a reason that the sellers here charge higher items for older accounts. The older the account, the less likely you are a scammer in eBay and PayPal's eyes.
Are you still getting the 'We need more information about your credit card' limitation on PayPal when using entropay?
