Activity: 0% Longevity: 53% | | Limited UK Paypal, what to do?
Hi, I have my UK Paypal limited now because I have reached the receiving limit. Bought from this forum.
They need a bank account attached to the account but I don't have a UK account on hand.
They do not accept a VBA.
400GBP are in this account.
What can I do?
Greetings!

Well nobody is going to offer you a bank account so that's one you'll need to sort for yourself.
Once you get one, contact any of the sellers in the marketplace for assistance to then lift the receiving limit.

If I could get a bank account on my own, why would I need a seller in the marketplace for assistance? I can't and I am asking for alternatives / services. Do you think sellers in the marketplace could help me with that?
Thanks!

If your Paypal is unverified (sounds like it is if you have to add a bank account), then in order to lift the receiving limit, you'll need to add a bank account followed by submitting photo ID and address proof to Paypal.
Assuming you can manage all this yourself then of course you don't need any help.

If the reason you can't get a UK bank account is because you are not actually in the UK then I'd suggest updating your profile to show the correct flag. It will help forum members give you the best advice.

I only have a bank account in Poland, so UK bank account is out of reach for me.
I use and used UK accounts before in the past with no problems.
But now they need a bank account attached to it... which I can not get.
Maybe worldfirst to get an UK account under my real name and set it up in Paypak with the name of with my stealth?

So you are not actually from the UK as your flag says? Quote:

I received all docs from the seller of the account. But I can not lift the limits without the bank account. This is new right? Because in 2015 I had several stealth accounts without an bank account attached and fully verified.

Yes, there was a big change in Paypal's lift limit portal few months ago and since then yes you do. Quote:

I have read that some say it is not possible.

Can't say, never used them. Only ever used UK bank accounts. I'm sure someone who has experience in them too will come along and let you know. Quote:

I don't need it to get my funds off the PP account.

So how you think you are going to get your £400 out of your PayPal exactly? You don't just attach a bank account to verify, you need it to stay attached to withdraw to as well, you obviously haven't thought this one through!! You have already indicated you cannot get a UK account, sounding a bit like you are snookered!

Think about it. I have reached the limit of 1800/2500 GBP but only have 400 GBP left on the account in balance. I have successfully "withdraw" a lot without the need of a bank account. I don't need one.
The thing is, I have open ebay seller fees which need to be paid with the balance on the limited paypal. I need to resolve the problem asap.
Why am I snookered when there is payoneer or worldfirst? I can also go to UK and open up a bank account but then still, mismatched names...

You need to go back to the beginning if you don't know how UK bank accounts and PayPal work and mismatched names, everyone comes across this and deals with it.

Payoneer and Worldfirst have a chequered (at best) history with UK PayPal. By far the best option is to open a UK bank account.
There has been a lot of discussion of late about adding PayPal from a different country to an eBay. Perhaps that's something you could investigate if you are adamant about not using UK bank accounts. A lot of people here would love to hear back from you if you do so.

Perhaps do a daytrip to UK with Ryanair and open an account

We have sent your Direct Debit Instruction to your bank and in several days your bank should approve your Instruction.
| Payoneer will see the different name now in the direct debit instruction?

Yes they will and Payoneer will reject it. Exactly the same as when you add a UK bank account with a mismatch name. Although a Uk Bank account will still be added but it will be used for transfer only. (withdrawal)
Payoneer on the other hand, i have no experience with them so can't tell you what will happen. but going by other posts on Payoneer, it's hit or miss. Quote:
