More information would make sense.

Which Banks were you using?
Which VCC provider were you using?

That's your issue.

Paypal do have a purge every so often of high risk accounts. It's almost always due to the items being sold.

If you list high risk item eBay usually clips you...if you get away then yes PayPal gets you limited...

The issue right now is PayPal is limited accounts with first sale and low risk items...

Vcc might be an issue but I doubt that the accounts would get only limited after first payments always has to do with vcc.

PayPal needs money so they are limiting accounts

Excatly! Couldn't agree less well said... there does seem to be patterns though from year to year when they hungry and start limiting accounts randomly but the sad part is it's happening more and more quicker! Either your allowed to build your sales with them fully knowing your capacity of capable income and when you have a decent amount kicking about in your account... bam it will get limited and the usual "we see as you risk" email is sent allowing them 180 days of freedom with your hard work OR you don't even get that far and your already destroyed after first sale/ withdrawal. Anyone else agree??

Hi gus,

its defo paypal wanting the moneis as last 6 weeks or so its been plain sailing and no issues with anything at all.

MASTER PLAN: ive figured out a solution. create a new account and then purchase two very small items from it i.e. 2 x £1. then get the two feedbacks then were all good to go as paypal and ebay flagging system should go away. as the system will think that this account is not high risk....well thats my opinion...

what do you guys reckon? worth a try? i remember last year when paypal did this so i bought items then it was all good...

That's your opinion - I don't think there is enough proof to support that as a "solution"...

My accounts NEVER go down with out me knowing that what i've done with it has the risk of one going down (if that makes sense).

But i've had two go down recently for no reason what so ever, one of them hadn't even been used before but they still requested postage information (even the guy at paypal laugh at that)...lol

Both of them requested documents and then "refused the appeal" and said they wanted to part ways.

one of the accounts had a bit of money in it that paypal want to get the interest for so are holding on to it for 180 days even though i've given then proof that the items were delivered a long time ago.

Hi Guys,

again ive had 4 accounts get limited over the past week. so annoying and frustrating in every sense.

what ive come to realise is the following,

make sure the ip address you have is the same address where you live. e.g. say your ip its in London, but when you register with paypal and ebay your saying your address is in Glasgow. so that will defo flag it.

also DO NOT keep the same password. make sure every account has a new password. easiest way is; say account name is John Smith, password will be smithjohn1 or something like that.

also make sure everyt pic is different. this is what im going to try now.

if anyone person has got something else they could add or help out PLEASE PLEASE DO. as this is affecting peoples livelihoods in a massive way.

thanks.

That doesn't make any difference.

When are you are getting limited and what are the steps to resolve?

I am with Ebayorbust......makes absolutely no difference at all.

I could have an address in Leeds and my dongle may show Manchester, London, Southampton......never causes a problem.

Only issue would obviously be if you are not in the right country!

This is absolute ABC stealth. You should NEVER keep the same password for mutiple accounts. If a few accounts do get flagged to be compared to each other it is just an act of suicide.
