changing paypal address for buying ! ???

hi. just wondering if you were to buy off ebay, and the person will only send to the address on paypal. Would you change it to your real address just for the transaction. Or would this get you suspended since the address will be the same as one of your suspended ebay accounts.

Create a buying ebay account, and use your real address, but change a letter or two. Just use this for buying, no selling and you should be fine. Don't change your address on your current account, that'll get you suspended.

One couldn't use their current address if it was previously used on a suspended account, correct?
Aren't UK postal codes as accurate as Canadian postal codes?

That is why you must change at least one letter in the address to make it different. But only use it for buying.

Forgive my confusion...

So if my address was: 123 Anywhere St., Anywhere, AW, A1A 1A1
I could set up a Fleebay/PayPal buyers account using the address: 123 Aniwere St., Anywhere, AW, A1A 1A1?

Yes you could do that. I would first buy something cheap just to make sure it got to your address house/apt.

This is excellent advice, and is exactly what I have done, my buying account is in my wife's name, same address, and has been going strong for 4 months now.

Hi aspkin,

Do you ALSO mean: and use the SAME Paypal account for this new ebay "buying" account so that the money in PayPal from the selling account is then used to fund purchases made by the ebay "buying" account?

Or would you advise that the PayPal account that receives money from selling is not used for making purchases with the ebay buying account?
