I'm so glad I'm not the only one.
Each of my 2 transfers generated 3 emails - odd in itself.
On the transaction details no bank account is listed although if you view it on the classic site the bank details are there.
Now tonight, 24 hours after the 2 transfers I've received the funds back in my paypal account along with an email for each one.
The email has the title "we cannot complete your withdrawal" but then the message is :
"Dear (my name...."
and then the rest is blank.
I've hastily sent all the funds to a friend so he can transfer them to my bank.
He did a transfer from his PP account to his bank earlier and it was instant as is usual for him.
I had a similar problem a few weeks ago although the money did get to the bank after several days. I've never had withdrawals fail like this before.
I've been using the same bank account for well over a year but the name on it does not match my paypal name so I did wonder if they'd suddenly started asking for names -which I think they do if the transfer is FROM the bank and not TO.
Really glad to get confirmation this must be either a technical glitch or one massive stealth account crackdown. Hopefully not the latter

Normally all ok..

Same as mirza here,
checked paypal and it was back in there, re-withdrew it and its landed in my bank.
We should be able issue paypal with a suspension notice! Do not pass go do not collect 200 pounds.

Okay, I got a withdrawal could not completed email, a refund, withdrew again, and instantly landed in my account. Thanks everyone for sharing similar issues and reporting the outcome.

Morning!
So there I was, tossing and turning because I couldn't sleep this morning. I picked up my phone to check my emails and I received two emails from Paypal, telling me that the bank transfers couldn't be completed.
****.
I'm just in the middle of expanding my business and I have invested a lot in my stock and in general this month I have invested more than usual into my business setup.
****.
I thought: "Here we go again, back to square one" and I was already thinking what should I do to make this all go away(Read: I was thinking how quickly can I email James for help).
So now I read this, and all my worries have gone away... Seems like its an PP glitch and other people have same problems, but it also seems that Paypal is slowly processing payments again.
Success.
This is why I love this forum: When there are major changes, glitches or events I can only count of you little sausages to spread the word and talk about it.
Can you imagine if I was alone out there? Nobody to talk to, nobody to learn from... Nobody to ask help from.
I'd be... I'd be lost without you guys.
Thanks.

I have also had this problem with one of my accounts, were the withdrawal had failed and the amount was deposited back into the Paypal account from my bank account. Does this mean the account will be banned, as they have now seen the name differs? Or is this just a reversal and they haven't taken any funds from my bank account as it never was received there? I'm completely confused at the moment, if anyone could shed some light on the matter please.

Your bank wasnt the reason the withdrawal failed (ie funds returned) it was a paypal issue, so they would not even have connected to the bank and wouldnt have seen the different names.
Also paypal will only see your real name, if someone at paypal does a manual review of your account.

Seems like PP are having time of their lives... I'll just keep away from it till the end of the week and hope by then everything has been fixed.

Luckily this is happening after the weekend sales- I got most of my money out on Saturday/Sunday and whats left are the payments that always happen few days after the weekend- Silly Greek sausages who want to negotiate postage prices and other lowlife scumbags.
I think I've only got around £400 between all my accounts, so its all good.
Still, ****ing annoying.

Lets get this thread back up again, because I'm experiencing problems!
Anyone else out there who has this problem again? I'm not too worried, as it happens every now and again, just annoying.
