Default Paypal 180 day limitation

After the 180 days have passed do I need a photo ID to withdraw my funds?
An agent told me I need one,but this defeats the whole purpose of waiting the 180 days...

since a credit card chargeback can come within 180 days, thats why Paypal restricts your fund for 180 days.
Never heard of photo ID to withdraw,PAYPAL usually will email you that it is available to withdraw, how do you plan to withdraw ?

Normally you don’t need photo ID it recently I’ve heard a few people say that they’ve been asked for extra documents after the 180 day mark

Quite a lot of cases of pp asking for ID these days even after the 180 days are up

It would seem if your account was limited and didn’t pass the ID check to remove the limitation then they might be asking you again after 180 days

A limitation was placed and they asked for documents because of the execessive amount of funds so I came to the conclusion why not just wait it out. I'm not in a rush.
