eBay Business account using LLC?

Hello,

I recently got indefinitely suspended for trademark violations :(.

I plan to create a new business account with an LLC. My question is, do I need to change any names of the LLC's information?

When I make an EIN, will I need to put it under a different name?

Getting suspended for trademark violations is rather serious.

Have you thought about getting the stealth guide? In it you would be given the option of creating new account using stealth details, or an LLC if you plan on higher volumes.

The LLC name will need to be unique, and not used on any other account before. One method is to change the LLC name, and you must amend those articles. Each state has its own amendment form. You can contact your state's business filing agency, such as Secretary of State. If might also just be easier to start a new LLC entity and apply for a new EIN (free from the IRS) as well.

Yes I have just filed for new LLC. I put the agent and business contact in my brothers name, but made an EIN as a managing member in my own name. Will this be a problem?

So long as the EIN is associated with the entity name, you should be good as far as PayPal is concerned. Just keep your articles and other paperwork just in case you are asked for them, which will happen eventually once money starts coming in.
