I've seen this combo referred to on the forums, but not in the Stealth Book (herein referred to as the bible ).
Using Cart Manager to send out an invoice and users pay all to the same Paypal account? I find it hard to believe this could work. If one of the eBAY account you sold something on is suspended, even if this Paypal is not linked to that suspended account, won't the bots do some checks and figure out item #1223456789 that belongs to a suspended eBAY account was paid to your current Paypal account and link them?
I have a pre-2007 (2004, actually) eBAY account which I could use with a merchant account, but I don't like the fact I can only get my money every 15 days...with Paypal I can have the money in my bank account after 48 hours.
Of course the main issue is having real bank accounts for each stealth paypal account... it's feasible but it's getting a bit of a challenge!
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!
yup.. just a transaction number generated by cartmanager and shipping information

Just a really quick question- for us to setup a paypal merchant account, it has to be their Website Payments Pro. What kinds of info do we need to supply to paypal to set up this Payments Pro account? I have a few verified stealth paypal accounts (two that've successfully even bypassed the SSN paypal limitation) and want to give this a shot but I couldn't find out what more they would require me to set it up...
upgrade to a business account to get the merchant id #. There was another member who said s/he was able to see this number on a premier account.. but heard nothing from anyone else about it.. i searched through some of my paypals for it but couldnt find it

thanks for that info yaw- but do I need to have a merchant PRO or can I use a merchant STANDARD and still get a merchant ID? just that if I need to get a pro account, it won't be stealth (obviously)
standard is good to go.. Once i got the business account up, i clicked on web payments standard with cartmanager, entered the information from paypal and i was good to go..

Thanks for all the help but I sign into cartmanager and click on the payment gateways and it only has paypal pro (not standard)- so can I still use the standard business account? And if so where can I look up my API key and certificate?
"The good thing about CartManager is when setup correctly all you need is one Paypal account to use with all your eBay accounts. And you can add checkout buttons directly into your auctions with it. Go to CartManager.net to learn more" on page 27
I couldn't figure out how to do it in the demo, and aspkin responded to my PM saying that from what he could see, it was only good for one eBay account.
I am confused! Can I or can I not use cartmanager for all my eBay auctions? One cartmanager/paypal combo for all eBay accounts?
Yes, you can use cartmanager for several different Ebays to 1 paypal account. As Sacajawea stated, you can get the API from a premier account without signing for a merchant account. You do select "website payments pro" in cartmanager to input all the information. One thing you want to do is make sure each time you send the invoice you change the contact information to match your ebay account. You do need 1 cartmanager for each paypal account though, do not try to use 1 cartmanager for several different paypals as this will cause payments to go to the wrong paypal accounts. (tried it and found out the hard way after hours of searching where the payments went. LOL!) Realistically it is best to use only one cartmanager per Ebay, but not a critical thing. It would not be hard for them to trail them all back and limit/suspend everything in one shot.

I've already managed to setup Paypal with CartManager.
My problems lies with the part where the eBay buyers pay. Aspkin told me I need to include a checkout button in my listing. They're easy to make in the admin section, but how do I configure the buttons properly?
Do I simply add a button in each listing, and when they click on it, it will automatically add the item purchased in the cart?
That`s the part I cannot figure out. Integrating Paypal's API was easy enough to do
TigerLord- I was thinking thats what we'd have to do unless you do a listing that gets high volume then add a button
I still have a demo version of cartmanager but I can't figure out if we can save the invoice as a standard format (if we're selling the same thing) and then just send it to different buyers- any help?
I use the demo version, manual send invoice, copy/paste the info from the winning gmail.
I tell buyers to await my invoice prior to paying,I also disable ebay checkout. I do not use a winning buyer button in the listing, as ebay frowns enough upon circumvention.
