PayPal still used my Balance to pay eBay

I like many here could not opt in the PayPal Cash Account because my SSN had been previously attached to a ban PayPal account so I added a bank account to PayPal to withdraw my money and was about to make my second withdrawal since this rule took effect and I got a pleasant surprise eBay was paid in full with my balance and not my Credit Card or Bank Account. Has this happened to anyone else and wonder if this will continue so I could keep enough funds to cover future payment?

if automatic payments for ebay is enabled it will take from paypal balance.

Well I verified my PayPal Cash Account with my banned SSN with no issues, and don't expect any issues UNLESS I go over 20K in sales.

Interesting, maybe gaypal knows everyones ssn is stolen anyways and wont ruin real peoples opportunity to actually use gaypal.

Yeah I wonder if that's the case sure would be nice as I would like to have a PayPal account with my SSN in the future.

Guys Paypal is separate now from eBay and they now have to ask for your info they don’t want to there forced to so they could care less with your ssn they make more money end of story they don’t care

it happened to me too. i had money stuck in my paypal account because of the dumb paypal cash, but at the very least it was only $800 left and i had a $400 ebay bill, so i guess if i want to think of it.. i only lost $400

Same thing here, my stealths that have no SSN on them have had eBay take their fees without any issues. Let's hope it stays that way.
