180 days text confirm but wrong phone number????

Hi. So my 180 days just past . I added bank account . Went to send funds but before it went through I got this message. : We just need some additional information to confirm its you. . Basically the text the want to send will be sent to a number I have no access to. What can I do???? Change contact number on PayPal??? Sorry if it a dumb question I just don't want to fu** it it. Fair amount been held there. Thank you for your help

Are you using the original profile you used to build the account? i.e. browser cookies

If so you should be ok updating the number to one that you have access to. You might find that once you update it still doesn’t work and you have to build up some more browser cookies for a week whilst the security flags reset

Cool thanks for the info. UPDATE: after adding a number I have access to. I was able to confirm identity and withdraw the money. Thank fu** that's over. Never ever leave any amount in PayPal.

How much did you have in paypal, I've got 3 accounts that are well passed 180 day and no funds available to withdraw email from them, did you have to send more info before they let you withdraw? Or did you have to call them?

Didn't do anything. I got an email stating funds are ready for withdrawal. Added a bank account and withdrew
