Default Receiving large amount, advice?

I created a PayPal account with all my real info 2 days ago. Someone is going to send me 2000$, I know I will get limited but if I send them all the documents they ask for and they approve it will the limits be lifted?

there's a possibility that after submitting the docs, you'll get the answer from them: "the docs are fine, but you business model is too risky for us, so get 180 days limit"

is it for goods and services?
are you selling high risk items?
can it be split up into small payments?

It is for goods and services and it's a service (Making a website). I don't think I can split it. Would you think there would be a problem?

when a buyer files item not received and you have no tracking and signature confirmation to prove delivery, you will lose since you are selling services BUT
Paypal has one time said that in some cases ,they will reviewed on a case by case basis,eg IT work such as designing a website.
Make sure there is some written agreement covering what is to be done, how much and with his name and Paypal email address.
make copies of the work like codes, take pictures of the website incase he removed it,and it wont hurt if you send him a copy of your work with tracking and signature.
anything over $750,tracking is not enough,it must be signed for.
if he files item not received, dont agitate him and dont make him remove the website

do you know this person,is he in Canada?
there is also a way to check his Paypal account,I have not done this for years, his paypal account will show how long has he been a paypal member and if he is a confirmed, verified member,
confirmed meaning he has confirmed his address, verified means he has linked a bank account.
It does not mean he wont file item not received, but every bit helps.

if it is services (designing website),you can ask him to make multiple payments, say first payment to start working, etc.
Paypal has some rule on multiple payments and buyer protection, cant recall all the details, buyer may not be covered if he does no make one single payment, you can go to Paypal site and learn more.
also having phone conversation may give you some clue how sincere is he,?

There doesn't seem to be a happy ending to your account if you accept this payment.

I am assuming you haven't yet verified your identity (with photo ID), which is out of your control, but it also gives PayPal every reason to cease business with you at this time; they will have an initial suspicion of money-laundering, terrorism or even just fraud.

Even with these concerns put to rest after submitting legit documents, there's simply too little activity on your account for PayPal to drop their guard and have full faith that this supposedly one-off transaction will go smoothly (meaning no disputes/chargebacks). From PayPal's perspective, if anything goes bad with this transaction (which is relatively difficult to prove or for PayPal to accept), $2000 is coming out of their pocket.

I would hate to see you or anyone else get their real name banned for life this way, so perhaps consider an alternative payment method or at least splitting the sum as suggested.

May be receive this money as family and friends instead goods and services.

Or atleast speak with paypal first and seek their advise.

Don't use paypal as a way to transfer money. Best way to receieve $2000 is through a bank, or zelle or cash app. Don't risk it.

I trust the person sending me the money, I just don't want to have my money blocked for 180 days.

Use GoogleWallet or have them send you a cashier's check or something else. PayPal is hold your money for 180 days and once that time passes, will still give you hell when you try to withdraw.

if you trust the person and he trusts you,ask him to send cashier check or even personal check or split the wiretransfer fee or just pick up the fee and avoid Paypal

Then don't do it.
If the guy is from Canada take an Interac money transfer. No reason for him to insist on paypal when there are other options available that will be MUCH safer.

That's impossible to not get limited with such high amount in a brand new pp account.
Do you have any other options to receive the funds? Never do this on paypal. Surely you'll be limited for 180days, and there's no guarantee that you can get those funds after 6months.
Best of luck.

The problem is many do not have $2k sitting in bank account and have to use a credit card and sellers have no way to accept credit card payments but Paypal.
I have accepted credit card payments using Google Pay,but that was years ago, dont know if it is still around?
