PayPal refunds question

I have an eBay account opened recently , after selling an item and successfuly released the funds of this sale and taken away, this buyer opened a return request but I don't know how to refund, everytime I try to do so through eBay I see an error message and I can't even do through PayPal because I do not see the option , the balance of PayPal is not negative it is above
Rather than to add other funds is there a trick that allow to refund?

if he opens a return request,there should be an option to send him a shipping label or just refund him.
or you can go to Paypal and refund him there,why you dont see any refund option is strange?
what is meant by taken away?
did you transfer the fund to your bank account?

there is no the button of the refund option in the PayPal order
When I tried to refund through eBay gave me the error ,
This PayPal account do not have bank account connected.
The payment for this order was released beforeI sent it to other PayPal ,
but after all I had enough funds to be able refund .
At the end I had to add more funds again to paypal and eBay let me refund

Have you tried to cancel the order on eBay?

Or if Paypal is showing the new view for you, the refund button is on the right side of the page about 80% of the way down.

I can't show now because the refund is made but I can assure there were not the button, I know where is , the strange thing is in the other orders it was showing as usual , but not for this in particular , I've been looking for while also in some forum to find an explanation but found nothing

I didn't try to cancel the order, I end it to add more funds on PayPal and able to refund on ebay
